Discovering nature

If you prefer peaceful little walks, Viviers les Montagnes' surroundings are for you ! Here are a few place that you might like.

  • The Dicosa (at Saïx) 

This outdoor activities centre has three lakes with refitted paths, a mountain bike route and outside games for the young. An observatory is situated next to one of the lakes and permits to watch wildlife diversity.  

  • Saint Féréol lake (near Revel)

A dam lake of the Black Mountain, it is the principal tank of the Canal du Midi. The activities are numerous: you can simply go for a walk, swim or try your hand at water sports.

  • Gourjade (at Castres)

Close to Castres, this 53 hectare park will delight everyone with its long paths, its games place, its roller blade run and its Coche d'eau quay, which link Gourjade to the city centre through the Agout river.

 

 

 

 

For the most athletic ones, the Tarn abounds in walking trails and sumptuous sceneries. 

To offer you the best holiday, book about hiking and maps are at your disposal in the council room of Le Pasteillé.

Do not hesitate to use it to create your tailor-made itinerary or to take marked out paths of the Sidobre or the Montagne Noire paths, on foot or by mountain bike.
