Our favorite:

Corde sur ciel (20km from Albi)

If you have the occasion to visit Albi, do not miss this fortified city situated on the cordais plateau. Elected "French people favourite village" in 2014, this medieval city will lead you to the seventh heaven.

Real jewel of gothic art, Cordes sur ciel has an exceptionnal architectural ensemble, with its numerous gothic scultures visible on the frontages and its decorated houses like the Maison du Grand Veneur.
